Holidays in Israel with children

Israel is an amazing and unique country. This is a place where children are very fond of, therefore, choosing a vacation destination, among a huge number of offers, it is quite rational to choose only one thing – a family vacation in Israel. However, this is a matter of everyone’s taste, but today we will try to tell you what awaits the traveler and his children in this country.

Where to go with a child and what to see?
If your vacation was in the winter, then keep in mind that in the winter months the weather here is quite diverse, it all depends on the point to which you go. For example, in the north of the country, in the region of Mount Hermon, snow may lie, which will allow you to enjoy fun skiing, snowboarding or sledding. There is entertainment for everyone: from children to grandparents. Splashing in one of the three seas that bathe Israel is unlikely to succeed, but the air temperature is quite comfortable – + 15-18 Celsius, and the water temperature in warm weather can reach + 18 degrees. Is it possible to risk only on the Dead or Red Sea, here the water is always the warmest. But as for the summer time of the year, Israel at this time offers a wider vacation, from the beach to the various water attractions that your child will surely enjoy.

Check out all the tours and special offers in the Tours section of Israel.

In holy places with children
It is simply impossible to visit Israel and not visit Jerusalem, especially this must be done with the children, they will be very interested, do not be afraid that the fidgets may not understand something. For example, a tour of the tunnels to the Wailing Wall will definitely not leave the child indifferent, and the impressions received from the tour will remain in memory for many years. Do not forget to visit with children the Christian Church of the Holy Sepulcher, the Dome of the Rock and the Muslim Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Zoos in Israel
There are a lot of zoos here, and they are equipped in such a way that animals live almost in natural conditions, and it will be very interesting to look at the “smaller brothers” in all its glory.

Pay special attention to the Safari Zoological Center in Ramat Gan, in the east of Tel Aviv, the Hamat Gader Park, where the crocodile farm is located, the Bible Zoo in southwest Jerusalem (there are more than 200 species of animals that live on planet Earth since biblical times). Do not pass the monkey nursery of A-Kofima Park.

Museums and other attractions
Also with children you can visit the Mini Israel Museum, the Israeli Marzipan Museum, Luna Park, the superland in Rishon Le Zion, as well as the Shvaim water park.
