Israel is located simultaneously in three climatic zones.

A significant part of Central and Northern Israel is in the Mediterranean climate, with its typically hot summers and rainy winters.

On the Coastal Plain, summers are hot and humid, but pleasant winters. In the mountains, on the contrary, it is dry in summer and quite cold temperatures in winter.

In the southern and eastern regions of the country, the climate is desert: it is very arid and extremely hot. Temperatures day and night are radically opposite.

Such a variety of climatic conditions gives tourists the opportunity even in winter to choose between a way of relaxation, spending it, skiing on the slopes of Mount Hermon, or swimming in the gentle waters of the Gulf of Eilat.
